Yes, but I figured that's because he was from Nazareth. There could be a connection, though. I might start a thread about it and see if anyone else has noticed this.
I think the priests are for life, and bred to be priests. Nazirites decide to do it.
I will have to look up where that is. I know the Catholics and the Lutherans share it but not sure where... I think at the end of the service.
I also noticed that the Nazirites weren't allowed near dead bodies, and Jesus sure broke that rule.graciesings:
I think there are two Biblical words; Nazarite and Nazarene. Nazarite refers to the opening verses of Numbers 6, when a man or woman vowed, shaved his or her head, etc. Nazarene refers to an inhabitant of Nazareth, as was the Lord Jesus before His public ministry.
