THE CHALLENGE OF JESUS by N.T. Wright
Probably one of the most enlightening, edifying, authentic and faith-affirming books I have ever read on the question of who Jesus was and is. I highly recommend it to anyone, regardless of their church affiliations. I am not very familiar with N.T. Wright myself or his theology, but this book in itself is stellar.
