It never ceases to amaze me how Christians who understand the same as thousands of years of Jewish faith what God meant when He spoke to the Children of Israel concerning this matter, get to be so condemmned. To this day they (the Jews) dont interpret the call to being holy concerning tattoos as only applicable to not doing it "for the dead" or some such thing.
Perhaps we ought not to get too much of our doctrinal understanding from tattoo artists

As a Christian with tattoos, I've had some thought on the matter. I don't know of the Jewish views, or anything like that. I don't find tattoos as a kind of mutilation, or a destructive act upon the body. My temple (as I've heard the body referred as) is still in fine health, and none of them have taken me away from my relationship with God. Actually all of my tattoos have some kind of spiritual meaning in some way, and has no message of glorifying worldly things. I believe we cannot condemn the man that has found God in his 30's with tattoos from his past. Some of us took longer to find Him than others. I believe it takes communication with these people with tattoos and have come to know the Lord, that in there hearts they too believe that, God can reside in the body of men and women with or without tattoos. I hope I have not offended your club.

What if you saw John 3:16 spray painted on a crack house or on any building in the public's view? Or someone spray painted the 'good news' in a bad neighborhood? Would you consider that trash?

I would how ever like to hear the words of God that you speak of referring to tattoos and so called body art.

By the way, i don't have any tattoos nor do i want any.

Graffiti is graffiti when you dont have the owners permission to do it
i)As we have been bought with a price I would suppose we should ask God if we want to mess up His property.
ii)Lev. 19:28
ii) BTW neither do I
