When storm clouds fill the sky
And all I can ask is why,
Then you bring the sunshine in
And stand beside me as my friend.
When life throws me a curve
And I'm just unable to swerve,
You're there to straighten my course
As my compass, my friend, my source.
When sunshine fills my way
And I need to share my day,
You willingly come and sit
Cause your friendship is a perfect fit.
Through joy or laughter or tears
Through pain or loss or fears,
You just know what to do
I couldn't find a better friend than you.
The Father sends blessings from above
To share with us His wonderful love
And one of the best He sends
Is the blessing of you being my friend.
