But a burger is more than just a delicious dish. “I think for most people, it ties them back to their childhood,” says food blogger and influencer Sef González, aka Burger Beast, who says he became obsessed with burgers at age 6 or 7.
“My earliest memories of enjoying them are tied to going to Burger King, McDonald’s and Wendy’s with my family,” he adds. “However, my deeper appreciation for the hamburger grew from stopping on road trips and vacations at diners, drive-ins and luncheonettes.”
