I would imagine as a nations currency gets more inflated and unstable that the bitcoin will gain as the more popular form of currency. Instead of a credit card I would imagine transactions using some kind of identification on the hand or forehead....

I have noticed that credit card transactions have went from swipe to inserting a chip to tapping. I can imagine transactions via some kind of tatoo the next method of transaction. I can also imagine the Revelation 13 prophecy being fulfilled using electronic transactions.

If anything, it is the antidote to a central takeover of currency.

No "man" will be able to require all humans to use one centralized electronic currency unit for all buying and selling as long as peer to peer currency (and regular old bartering, for that matter) exists.

The innovation of Bitcoin and other "peer to peer" currency has rendered any future "mark of the beast" wholly ineffectual and powerless to prevent buying and selling.
Also, Gold and Silver will forever be "traded" and used as currency, whether or not a person has a tattoo or microchip imbedded in them. a 21 century "mark" will be powerless to prevent it.

If you don't control the currency, you can't control the trade.

No one person controls Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc...nor can any one person ever control (or require) it. Crypto Currency = Bartering, and as long as there is bartering, we have an unimpeachable antidote to the successful implementation of a 21st century "Mark of the Beast" requirement to buy and sell.

Honestly I don’t know about the direction of currency in the world. However, whatever is going to happen is going to happen and I don’t know what I can do about it. Many people I think are hypersensitive to any kind of hand or head imprint as it regards serious evil. It’s hard to contemplate that actually happening by mandate here in America as things currently stand. If those things often written about and talked about are true, Christ’s imminent return should be forthcoming.

Currency is trending towards digital. There will probably be a global currency someday and in order to use it you will need the MotB

Since peer to peer currency can’t be stopped or centralized I don’t see how that’s possible.

If you and I agree to create “Bellarousia” coins and we agree that one coin is worth x and we trade them with one another for goods and services between just us….i fix your plumbing for 7 bellarousia coins and you give me a haircut for 4 coins, and make me an omelette from the eggs your chicken laid for another 3 coins… etc… No one could ever stop or regulate that kind of peer to peer decentralized “buying and selling”.
It would be impossible.
Crypto currency is the MOB antidote.

It's an idea, but I don't think that money in Any form will be the Mark.
The goal of the mark is to establish control, and the means of that control is necessarily world wide, and involves every country.
For that reason, it can't be currency, because every country has it's own currency.
Secondly, currency is a physical thing, and it would have to be able to be used worldwide. That's not possible yet.
So I can say that the mark isn't coin.

The scripture does discourage date predictions, giving us enough to know things that must transpire without exact dates. And also reminding us that the day of the Lord will occur as a thief in the night. If I had to pick an end time date I would go with the scientist, Isaac Newton...

I traveled to Tahiti a decade ago and couldn't help but notice all the electronic devices hooked to databases. All you have to do is swipe your passports and all your information comes up. You can even have your iPhone display your ticket information. We are not far away from having everything stored on a universal database in which we will all be required to be tied to! And for most folk this will be just another tattoo!

We should never jump over things. What I mean is the beast (how ever you wish to picture it) has to come to life.. then tells the world to worship it if you don't your killed. There is no "mark" of the beast that comes first. No one on the planet will have that mark of his name since he is not even here nor the AntiChrist. The PRAISE GOD good news is all of us whos names were written in the lambs book before the foundation of the world will never worship the beast.

I've got a little crypto too...
It will be inpossible to regulate peer to peer crypto currency.

They might be able to tax it, but even that would be difficult if it's not pinned to any government currency value.

Like I said, You and I could, right now, create our own private crypto currency that only you and I use with one another, that we could tie it's "value" to a strict list of goods and services and not to any government hard currency.

That can not be regulated by ANY outside agency any more than if you and I decided to trade a dozen eggs from your chickens for a gallon of milk from my cows...

There is no way any sort of "mark" (or lack thereof) could ever prevent that type of Buying and Selling.

Most of these coins won’t be around in a few years.
