Welcome to CF Moma E. We'll be sure to let you know if @@Paul@@ misbehaves.
HI Gold Dragon, must say I have enjoyed reading your posts in other threads. Love the banter... I will be happy to let you know IF he misbehaves..
But seriously ( and this will embarrass him) He is a blessing! Keeps me on my toes and in the Book. I will leave him to the heavy theological stuff... me? I am all about the shoo fly pie and sweet tea.!

My son is 19, and I sometimes "lurk" on the websites he frequents, too, just to check them out. But please don't tell him! :o

Glad to meet ya!

Thanks for the kind words, Moma E.

@@Paul@@ has also been a blessing to me at helping me understand dispensationalism and alternative views of other theological issues.

Hmmm? What side of this great big world do you live on?? I am as far west as you can get, Washington State. Are you close?
As far west, but way south of you. Southern California.

Too bad! I love chicken cacciatore. Haven't made it in a long time. I know I missed a good dinner.

HI everyone! thought I would check back in on this thread (my favorite).
SO. CA. been down there 3 times. You in the valley??

Nope. Although "the valley" can actually mean several different places, depending on where you are. I lived the first 25 years of my life in the San Joaquin Valley. In the L.A. area, "the valley" usually means the San Fernando Valley, north of downtown L.A. I live south of there, almost in Orange County.

Would someone please explain the "blessings" and "reputations" to me. I am not sure I understand it. Newbie.

I think you've got blessings figured out. You get them when you post or when people give them to you, and you can give them away. there are other things you can do, like bank them, use them to buy an avatar, use or win them in the arcade, and buy and keep or give away equipment. I don't do much of any of these, so someone else will have to give you those details. Somebody gave me a whole pile of them when I was a newbie, and I usually just give them away when I feel like it.

Reputations build as people give you kudos for a good post. You can give reputation points to other people, too. Giving reputation doesn't cost you anything like giving blessings. But the higher your reputation, the more your kudos raise someone else's rep.

Don't know much more than that. Hope it helps.

Hope everyone had a good day today.

And you, too!

Yeah Moma E.! And if you need some links to examples I will be happy to provide them!

I have to say, although we have never chatted, you must be one awesome woman to have such a wonderful son. But that is just my humble opinion. Welcome!

Hi Ainesis! I must say that is just about the nicest thing anyone could say to me. Warmed my heart. Truly not that I am so awesome (but thank you) However I do completely agree that I have a wonderful son. The best part..we will spend eternity together. What a blessing for a parent to know that.

Thank you for your kind words and welcome. I have enjoyed reading your posts in other threads. ( I have been a snooper for quite awhile now). Looking forward to reading some new ones.!

Have a good day!

I love root beer floats. We have Hires Root Beer and Dad's Root Beer, they are sooooooooo good.
I like birch beer floats too!
I hope you all have a blessed and happy Friday
Hire's and Dad's? You must be from the eastern US!

Birch beer floats sound wonderful. I'll have to try one.

I've never heard of birch beer. What's it like?
It's a yummy sort of rootbeer made from birch roots instead of sassafras roots, like regular rootbeer. It's lighter colored and has a brighter flavor. You can sometimes find it in the specialty soda area of the grocery store, next to the cream soda and that sort of thing.

By the way, cream soda floats are really good, too.
