Alright now, let's dish!

Do you have any odds-on favorites yet?
Anyone you think should've stayed?

I think he picked well for the first impression rose. She does seem genuine. I also liked the woman who played the clarinet -- she's got real talent.

I wished that he kept the attorney (the one who started dancing). She seemed nice, and not skanky.

One of the girls totally looked drunk at the end. The editors kept flashing back to her -- I think she was a cocktail waitress or something. He didn't end up picking her.

He seems like quite the catch, but 6'5"? A little too tall for me -- LOL!

I just watched the "Bachelor: Where are they now?" show on www.abc.com and, yeah, I saw the chick that you're talking about. They interviewed her and she was wearing this [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse]tish dress with her, um, cleavage hanging out. Oy!

I really hate the conflict, which is why I don't always watch every season. I'd rather everyone get along (though they're competing at the same time). I like to root on the nice gals.

I would like to have heard about Hilary from the last show (with Brad), and where she is now. But they didn't go back and interview her.

At first, I was really curious about what people were up to, but after hearing how some are married, some are not, some have new careers ... it wasn't all that exciting. lol. They're just like all the rest of us.

Oh! Except that I did think the women who got married later found more normal-looking husbands -- not hunks. But that's real life!

I like two of the three he's given "first impression" roses to -- Amanda (the girl with the hiccups) and Chelsea (the one who warned him that she is stubborn). I do NOT like Ashlee, who basically threw herself at Matt and kept bragging about getting the rose.

I haven't gotten a great sense of all the others, tho' I think Holly and Noelle are very pretty. There's one blonde woman who is very funny; I forgot her name but I think she won the one-on-one with Matt in Vegas.

Shayne has got to get a grip on herself -- though I understand how frustrating it must be for her if she's used to getting any guy she wants, immediately.

I was sad to see Erin from Seattle go -- I thought she would've stayed longer, but maybe she found it hard to compete and put herself out there. It seems like this season, the women are more aggressive and strategizing -- you know, acting like it's a talent show, focused on getting one-on-one time with him... Do you think it's any different than in seasons past?

The red head who sang to him and was eliminated this week -- gosh I kinda felt sorry for her when she was talking about consoling herself with her cat. I mean, I like cats, but it sounded a bit ... sad.

What about you?

Yeah I like those 2 as well & I was likeing the girl who was bragging until she did that.

I do feel kinda like it's a talent shw whith everyone singing, dancing, etc... The opera singer wooo some things I think need to be left til later on down the line.

I did hear that he is with whoever he chose so we'll see.

So I just watched the fourth episode, the one with the two-on-one date with Murshana and Holly. Wow! what a shocker!

Overall, I'm impressed with the "group" spirit this season. It's kinda amazing to see the girls doing each others' hair and helping each other get ready for their dates with Matt (I'm thinking especially of Holly helping Amanda with her hair, and Holly helping Shayne do the spray-on tan last episode, and Shayne sticking up for Noelle's one-on-one time with Matt when Robin got in the way).

So, the editors are either merciless with Noelle or she really doesn't have much to say. Her conversations with Matt are never shown. All we know about her is that she's a photographer from Colorado.

I thought he was right to send home Kelly and Ashlee. If the deeper connection hasn't emerge by now, it's probably not there. Maybe it was the editing, but it wasn't clear to me that Kelly was into Matt at all. And I couldn't envision Ashlee, the traveling singer/songwriter, marrying a banker. Two different lifestyles.

I agree. I don't think Matt would be happy with Chelsea, since she doesn't like to hold hands. My bet for the final two will be Amanda and Noelle. He's fascinated by Shayne, but they're really different from one another. Not sure that'll work...

Yup, can't wait for next week! There was a weird preview scene with one of the mom's stroking Matt's chest. Ewwwwwww....

IT'll be fun to see how different all the women's "real" lives are from each other -- and then from Matt's.

I actually respect him. So far, he's been able to talk about each woman and what it is that he still wants to know about her. That seems very realistic. Like with Chelsea, he said they seemed like best friends, but he wanted to know if she could be romantic too. That's kind of like how relationships develop. You see one side and then want to learn about other sides of the person.
