And we have our Babylonian connection just as I knew I'd find....
Nimrod was known as the Sun God - His day of Birth is Dec 25th.
(Sorry kids Jesus isn't a December baby) Yes really your celibrating His birth Not Christ - ofcourse the pagan holiday of Christmas was started ofcourse by the RCC (Roman Catholic Church) Christ and mass make Christmas!

Right here is ONE of MANY Babylonian conections of the RCC. I will show (over several postings that the harlot IS the RCC.... A religious harlot ofcourse brings back to Her house the pagan ways of Babylon..... You see Satan started a good many of the pagan rituals in All the religions with Babylon - hence the name of the harlot is Babylon - Mother of All harlots - she is the mother of All religions - save one ofcourse..... But to do Revelation 17 I found I had to establish this first - the Harlot side who fornication with the kings and All the pagan ways.... You may wish to wait a few days till I post numerous things so as to get a better Hold on what it is you stand ready to defend....

The Pope wears a Hat called a mitre

the word Mitra (Mitre) comes from A semi-formal Babylonian Head dress and babylonian Priest wore them - the Chaldeans - stargazers (ofcourse the Church has a stargazing observatory)

In Chaldean times, the head of the church was the representative of Dagon, he was considered to be infallible, and was addressed as ‘Your Holiness’. Nations subdued by Babylon had to kiss the ring and slipper of the Babylonian god-king.

Dagon - Fish Worship - Smith's Bible Dictionary
"We have evidence that at a later period the Pagan priests dispensed with the body of the fish, and used the head alone like a cap."
(Bryant, Vol. v, p. 384)

"As to the ritual of his worship...
we only know from ancient writers that,
for religious reasons, most of the Syrian peoples
abstained from eating fish, a practice that
one is naturally inclined to connect with
the worship of a fish-god."
- The Catholic Encyclopedia, 1913,

(do Catholics still not eat fish except Friday?)

1. so we see the name mitre is from Babylon
2. That Dagon came from Babylon and the priest wore the Mitre
3. He was infallible
4. Was called His holiness.
5. His ring was kissed
6. His subjects didn't eat fish

The RCC says that the popes mitre comes from Byzantine and Not Babylon....

Here is the popes mitre
6db4e5ccd6bb74542f01c74c30263356.jpg

this is (for what I found) the mitre that the Byzantines wore
abe826581e91a65fd6c7562ef99c8d28.jpg
Note this mitre is conical

and this is the Dagon priest mitre
(this is taken from a carving)
5f60147b828d942a983f1b50ada0c1e3.jpg

And well I think it is clear as to which it is Most like.....

And this is only His hat and what a pagan past it has!

Btw - keep in Mind Nimrod was the Sun God for when we get into all the sun symbols within the RCC.....

No more post needed here as I made the truth known.

You're repeating the same bland nonsense others have been repeating for years.

Repeating nonsense doesn't change the fact that it's nonsense.

The western mitre has as its basis the Byzantine kalimauchion. Itself likely descending from the frigium, a headdress worn since ancient times.

But no, let's go with "Dagon hat", after all, you have pictures.

Yup, the mitre does look like a "dagon hat"; two raised portions front and back.

Using that same train of logic....

My truck, a long-box extended cab Silverado has four wheels, just like a Portia Turbo Carrera; therefore I must be driving a Portia!:clap::thumbsup::thumbsup::clap::clap:

are you a sola scripture Christian?
If you are, please use the Bible to prove this
Nimrod was known as the Sun God - His day of Birth is Dec 25th.
Nimrod was a great-grandson of Noah
that makes him very ancient, just several generations removed from the Flood.
The Bible says very little about him, and the generation of Nimrod would have only been the 13th generation of humans on earth, so this would have been very ancient. I doubt that secular sources, would be able to have good information about Nimrod.

(do Catholics still not eat fish except Friday?)
that was never the case
fish is enjoyed whenever, the restriction used to be agianst other types of meat, a fast on friday to remember the death of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Many Catholics would eat fish on friday, but for many people, they would eat fish 7 days a week if they are in a small sea side village.
It is not unheard of that people fast from all meat, including fish, or all food
but this is not because the food is sacred, it is seen as a way to fight agianst worldly passions, a way to become more disciplined

The truth has been made known! As we see in the first illustration, the figure is wearing a fish. But he is also holding an iron.

Do you iron your clothes?

Naa, he's holding an Easter basket (he must be Christian), but he has a stick to chase all of the other Christian Children away so he can get all the eggs! He's a greedy Christian.:p

I love how Christians spend so much time bashing other Christians in the RCC, rather than focusing on the evils of Islam and such.

So true, but as I stated in the other thread, Islamic don't wear fish heads, nor do the carry Easter baskets (they may, however, carry sticks I would think).:)

If Satan's work is being done in the RCC, he's doing a terrible job; you know, with leading people to Christ, proclaiming Christ as Savior, worshipping Almighty God; doing good in the world, being responsible for more charitable work than all other Christian denominations combined. It's funny, really, that Jesus said we would know them by their fruits --- Catholics feeding the poor, housing the homeless, evangelizing --- doesn't seem like rotten fruit to me. And of course, scripture alone Christians that twist scripture to bash the RCC forget that scripture says that those that profess Jesus as Christ, as Savior, as Messiah, as King, as Almighty God!, have the Spirit; those that do not have the Spirit cannot profess this fact.

It's frightening and disgusting to me that there are people that actually believe we could use Christ's mother in such a way as to lead people away from God and to make her into a goddess, a deity all of her own. You can't know about Mary without knowing about Jesus, and I certainly don't believe he would allow his mother to be so degraded in such a way. To more or less state that she is the head of the GREAT harlot, THE PROSTITUTE, responsible for all of these evils, is ignorant --- Have fun discussing this with Jesus, if your rotten hearts ever get the chance.

On another note, claiming that the Vatican and all is built on ancient pagan temples or what the hell ever you're claiming, as some kind of proof that the church is evil, is so, so stupid. Yes, because Almighty God can not and would not tear down the walls of paganism and build up his walls in its place. What have countries and nations always done when they have taken victory in foreign lands? They thrust their flags into the ground in the ultimate sign of victory; they claim the land as their own.

All right, but we can find some good and some bad in almost any organization, can't we? Does the good mean that there is no bad? We could, as a matter of fact, say that there are people who have been led to Christ in almost any cult.

So this Babylonian imagery has NO real application to any of the world's great religions today.

One can make the argument that the Babylonian Captivity, as written about by a "certain" theologian, continues; but as far as the imagery goes (unless your Pastor is a "trout"; or your favourite hymn is the song below; I think we're OK. ;)

The religion of the 'secular' culture is based on Babylonian Astrolatry as well. Even the premise of forming and naming corporate entities comes from Chaldean sorcery. The whole idea is to write the 'personalities' of an idol on a piece of paper or stone and then sign your names on it in order to grant life to it in the spirit-world. The spirit then becomes an "Egregore" (Greek: Watcher) Sound familiar? It is the spirit of a collective of people—kind of like the 'body of Christ', but instead it's the body of a Beast.

I was told I was wrong about the connection to Babylon

I gave the proof exactly as I sat out to do.... No more post needed here as I made the truth known.

I am curious, do you have a problem with wedding rings??

They are pagan in origin you know right?

Just because something originated in paganism does not mean it is pagan.

Fire is not pagan
The Wheel is not pagan
We can go on and on.

Christmas, even if it was REPLACING a pagan holiday with a Christian one, Whats the big deal!
You should praise such actions as replacing falsehood with truth!

Instead you just go on the tireless rant trying to build up your own authority in your self, declaring yourself as pope and bearer of the only truth.

Yawn

Blah, blah blah. Heard it all before. And yet, I'm still Catholic. Go figure.

The Pope wears a Hat called a mitre
Ding Ding, we finally have a correct answer

the word Mitra (Mitre) comes from A semi-formal Babylonian Head dress and babylonian Priest wore them - the Chaldeans - stargazers (ofcourse the Church has a stargazing observatory)
Okay...
In Chaldean times, the head of the church was the representative of Dagon, he was considered to be infallible, and was addressed as ‘Your Holiness’. Nations subdued by Babylon had to kiss the ring and slipper of the Babylonian god-king.
Source?

Dagon - Fish Worship - Smith's Bible Dictionary
Another correct answer!

(do Catholics still not eat fish except Friday?)
No. Catholics can eat fish anytime they want, 24/7.

1. so we see the name mitre is from Babylon
And? Lots of words come from Babylon. It was pretty popular back in the day.

2. That Dagon came from Babylon and the priest wore the Mitre
I'm sure he did. Lots of people have jobs that require fancy hats.
Like this lady:
1306157961queen-elizabeth-ii-british-elite-1.jpg

3. He was infallible
Source?
4. Was called His holiness.
Source?
5. His ring was kissed
Source?
6. His subjects didn't eat fish
Source?

The RCC says that the popes mitre comes from Byzantine and Not Babylon....
It came from the Jews actually.
See, the Jewish priests wore hats:

Here is the popes mitre

Nice! I like Abp. Sample's too.

this is (for what I found) the mitre that the Byzantines wore
abe826581e91a65fd6c7562ef99c8d28.jpg
Note this mitre is conical
That's not a Mitre, that's a Tiara. And that's not a Byzantine, that's HH Pope Innocent III. (Fun Fact: I have a Pope Innocent III action figure.
Tiara:
170px-Clement_VIII_mosaic.jpg

This is a Byzantine Mitre:
0330-uk-p.jpg

Notice it's Crown-shaped.
It comes from the crown that the Byzantine Emperor wore.

and this is the Dagon priest mitre
(this is taken from a carving)

That's nice.

And well I think it is clear as to which it is Most like.....
Meh. I'm not convinced.

And this is only His hat and what a pagan past it has!
Gasp! Pagans wore crowns too! Therefore, Queen Elizabeth must be a pagan!
Pagans invented Pants, I am wearing pants. THIS VERY SECOND. My pants have a pagan past! Are you wearing pants?

Btw - keep in Mind Nimrod was the Sun God for when we get into all the sun symbols within the RCC.....
We already established that he wasn't.

Brother:
Another point for your edification. Babylon was the first empire that attempted a one world government experiment, the first to try to ascend into heaven and dethrone God. Revelation calls the harlot mystery Babylon for her goal is political i.e. to once again establish the one world government. This time however, she has ascended into the heavens yet there exists a prophecy that gives hope, Jeremiah 51:53
"Though Babylon should mount up to heaven, and though she should fortify the height of her strength, yet from me shall plunderers come unto her, says YAH."
