  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

THE ATONEMENT CLOCK

A grid exists of weeks, periods of seven years, and multiples of seven that extend beneath the pages of scripture, surfacing briefly inside stories and seemingly innocuous chronologies. The aim of this book is to see if it had any basis in fact, and if so, what was its purpose, and to where was this count of ‘seven’ heading?

The ‘lost’ Sabbatical and Jubilee years are key to this, but finding them requires a careful examination of the chronology of the Judges, Kings of Israel, and the era between the Old and New Testaments. To uncover these cycles, the author identifies scriptural cases, dates them, cross-checks them with the continuous count, and cross-checks them again with known extra-biblical records.

The resulting timeline reveals a stunning convergence of data to Jesus of Nazareth. The Sabbatical years were not lost after all, but counted inexorably to His atoning sacrifice. Moreover, the Sabbatical years (observed or not) were followed by the prophets. In addition to the Messianic countdown, they provide unexpected confirmation of historical dates in the Old Testament. The implications of this research will positively impact history scholars and Bible critics; and readers will find their confidence in the historicity and inspiration of the scriptures strongly reinforced.

The Atonement Clock is not written in high academic language, however, the arguments hinge on precise and accurate dating, and clear, full-size diagrams are employed to illustrate vital linkages between hitherto unnoticed dates. Biblical, as well as extra-biblical sources are drawn upon for information, and a helpful sidebar reference system enables the reader to quickly check the various quotations and claims being made.

The finished book is a compact, color, illustrated, soft cover publication packed with information that is rarely found in larger books.

THE ATONEMENT CLOCK

In 1859 a Jewish scholar, Benedict Zuckermann published a table of sabbatical years in ancient times. He based his conclusions on a variety of sources such as the book of Maccabees and Josephus. In one example he cites an exemption Alexander the Great granted Jews concerning payment of tax every seventh year. Apparently it occurred once at the time Alexander conquered Gaza. With examples like this Zuckermann charted the seven year cycle. (Shemitah) Like Zuckermann’s earlier work, ‘The Atonement Clock’ deals with the Sabbatic/Jubilee countdown. But new information (archaeology and astronomy) reveals a stunning convergence of data to Messiah, Jesus of Nazareth. The Jubilee (Yovel) was not lost as previously supposed.

This post is to advise that ‘The Atonement Clock’ is now available as an E-publication on the Internet here. The E-pub has the same text as the original hard copy editions, except that the reference margin has been omitted due to screen limitations in small reading devices.

In publishing an edition for E-readers, this book is now available at a more affordable price than what has ever been possible before. It will retail for $8.00, but for the month of August will be less than 1/2 price. (approx $4.00 depending on currency) I’m making this offer to forum members, but you are welcome to invite your friends to take advantage of the special too.

Ive tried not to spam my friends, so I won’t overdo the self-promotion. However, the research here has revolutionised my understanding of Messianic prophecy, and I sincerely want to share it.

In Him,

This YouTube video serves as an introduction to my book published several years ago. In the process of researching the book, I gave a talk about it at church. I had the old audio tape, but its taken about 5 years to figure out how to turn it into a video. Anyway, here it is. Ive adapted the message and added a power point presentation, and put it up on YouTube. I hope you like it.
