  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

 hmm, well, I would have to say no. I looked up on it a little bit and saw that there was one area that mentioned them in the "Christian Cadegory". However, by reading through some of the lyrics, I would have to say no. They don't sound too bad, no swearing that I saw, but don't sound Christian either. :sorry:

OK here is the answer.

No.

Not because of lyrics, but because the bands members said they did sign onto a Christian label, but they are in fact not a Christian band. They said that in no way reflects the religion of the BAND MEMBERS, but just the religion of the band, which is unchristian.

They have now moved onto a new label instead of Solid State. They are on Road Runner now. I love the Agone Scene, they are a great band, and their style is one of my most favorites that I have ever heard. And just because the lyrics are a little violent doesen't mean they aren't a Christian band. Turd.

Hmm I actually just listened to some live The Agone Scene stuff, and it is weird, on a song I have called 'Hope' at the end it says 'Find hope...in Jesus Christ' then the song ends. That band is confusing me so bad. :( That was before the were on solid state and stuff I believe, so maybe they decided to not be a christian band shortly after that live thing?
