Rev 6:12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood.

The Sun and Moon

The 4th Trumpet stars
The 4th Trumpet: Rev 8:12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars (universe); so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.
Original Fall of Lucifer: Rev 12:4a and his (Lucifer) tail drew the third part of the stars (fallen creatures) of heaven, and did cast them to the earth (Gen 1:2):

The Great Day of Wrath
Rev 6:17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Mat 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.
It’s my belief the Seven Seals take place between the Resurrection and Tribulation. About a Seven Year Period of Time, beginning with the conclusion of the gog war (Ezek 38, 39) and ending with the conclusion of the Seventh Seal (Rev 8:1-5).
The Beginning of the Seven Year Tribulation
Rev 8:1 And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about the space of half an hour. Rev 8:2 And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets. Rev 8:3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. Rev 8:4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.
