  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Well, last night on Thursday, May 18th, they put That 70's Show to rest. It was for the best really. They lost their two best characters, Eric and Kelso, and the second Donna went blonde...I lost too much interest. The "foot in the a--" jokes were getting old, and characters were just being changed too much. So I suppose the series finale was more a mercy killing than a fairwell goodbye, but it all leads to the same thing anyway.

I wish I could have seen more of Eric in the episode - more than 6 minutes, anyway, with barely of his normal Eric antics. In any case, I like how they ended the series by having them go into 1980 at the end.

Good times....good times.

This last season was a bust - but, the finale was really good. Many laugh out loud moments, and even a few tears. The final circle was great, the final scene with Eric and Donna was touching, and the final fade to black as the clock struck midnight was perfect. Good ending to a great show.
