Alright, did one of these a while ago, and got some good responses. So, thought i'd revive it. Here, you can discuss/share who or what some of the things/people you are thankful for the most at the moment.
Things I'm thankful for:
1) My church family. Together, through the past year after asking our pastor to step down, we've grown a lot closer and a lot stronger.
2) My work life. As I come up on my 1 year mark of working for the same company, I reflect on how much I've grown, and how I've gone from just another sales associate to pretty much being 3rd in charge (and lead sales associate) of a location, as well as my non-paid work at my church, where I help run the college (and career) ministry, am in charge of the young adult band, and am in charge of running the sound booth.
3) My home family. Although, more often than not, they give me an example of how NOT to act, I still love them, and wouldn't be the Man of God I am today.
4) My high school friends Megan, Matt, and Brittany. Through reconnecting with them via texting and facebook, I've been able to form strong bonds with them, especially Megan. Megan's pretty much become my accountability partner in my walk with God, and i've become hers. We keep in touch a LOT, and are always trying to help strengthen each other's walk and our understanding of His word.
I look forward to seeing what God has in store for me in the future, and to finding out what everyone else is thankful for (ftr, you don't have to go into detail if you don't want to).
