Yeah so this is a thread made by a 15 year old kid who loves her country and would like to thank the men and women who are serving overseas. I dont know how many kids come here but if I am the first one its a historic moment. Anyway I just would like to thank the men and women who are overseas fighting for our country because they love America and they are fighting for us to keep us all fair. It means so much to me knowing men and women are out overseas right now fighting for our country because it is setting an excellent example for the future leaders of America, which is kids and showing them that they can do anything like fighting for their country if they just put their mind to it and that just means the world to me that they are risking their own lives to fight for America. God bless them. I just adore them and look up to them so much. My now dead grandpa was a veteran in WW2 and he told stories from when he was in war and since then I have always adored and looked up to the men and women who fight for our country. They really are our heros and some kids I know dont even take the time to think about the men and women over seas and take their time from doing schoolwork or after school sports to just sit down and pray for their safety and speedy return home. I do that and I am hoping that as I type this our troops overseas are doing fine and I am hoping for their speedy return home. Thank you to the men and women who are serving overseas. God bless you and please return home fast and safe!

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
