  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Thank You Lord!

My Mom had a stroke on October 26th and since that time has been unable to speak and is being fed through a tube.

Well today, Jesus has answered a prayer of mine and my Mom said some words. I was so excited when her doctor called and told my sister and I. While at the hospital (I didn't hear this but that is okay) she told a nurse's assistant "This is my daughter" referring to my sister.

The Lord is faithful and all we need to do is be faithful to Him.

:clap:

Dear Lord,

Thank you for answering my prayers. :bow: :bow: and allowing my mother to make this small step toward speaking again. Let my faith in you never falter.

In Jesus' Name
Amen

Psalm 20

1 May the LORD answer you when you are in distress;
may the name of the God of Jacob protect you.

2 May he send you help from the sanctuary

and grant you support from Zion.

3 May he remember all your sacrifices

and accept your burnt offerings.

Selah

4 May he give you the desire of your heart

and make all your plans succeed.

5 We will shout for joy when you are victorious

and will lift up our banners in the name of our God.

May the LORD grant all your requests.

6 Now I know that the LORD saves his anointed;

he answers him from his holy heaven

with the saving power of his right hand.

7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses,

but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.

8 They are brought to their knees and fall,

but we rise up and stand firm.

9 O LORD , save the king!

Answer [a] us when we call!

My Mom came home Christmas day from the rehab facility she is in for the day. I was very happy. I made my kids wait to open their gifts until she got there which was around 10:30. It wa agony for them :). I said a prayer of thanks before we opened gifts for the Lord allowing my mother to heal and be able to spend the day with us.

Thank you Jesus! :bow: You are wonderful!
