I remarried on March 21st. My wedding was officiated by an LCMS pastor.
It was challenging for us to find an official. My wife was confirmed as an Anglican and that is where we turned first. The Anglicans were reluctant to assist because our wedding date fell in lent and it was my second marriage. There was no Orthodox priest close by so I could not turn to my own church. I turned to the LCMS because I was a member prior to my journey to Orthodoxy (and I harbor no resentment to the church).
We found a bi-lingual officiant (my wife's first language is Spanish). He actually communicated with me about why I had divorced and what our needs were and what our spirituality is. We were married in an LCMS church by this kind pastor. I am grateful that he gave us the wedding that we sought.
