  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Daveleau the Protestant Affairs Director has been unavailable for just over a month. He had been on vacation and when he returned he was met with some military obligations.

As we are unsure as to his return the Executives and Erwin have decided to utilize Administrator Constance as a temporary PAD.

We had the recent polls made before Daveleau's election to guide us as well as Constance's denominational position she was the number 2 choice by poll.

We do not know how long Daveleau will be away for it may be a day or a month. I will say that your prayers are of course welcome for his safety and well being as well as peace for his wife.

I want to thank Constance for stepping up to the plate to do this for us and welcome her to the Executive team if only for a short time.
