Well considering this "new" questions forum is to be a joint effort between support and the ombudsman/conciliator team and joykins has stated she is resigning and doesnt have time to be on here anymore - wouldnt you think it best that a new ombudsman be placed and ready to oversee this implimentation since the ombudsman is the headship of the concliator team to begin with?
I'm confident that the new system will work well, even in he absence of an ombusdman. The conciliator team are very well experienced and I'm positive they can be relied on to do the right thing.I see, so it would be acceptable to have no accountability amoung the concliator team(since the ombudsman is who the conciliators serveat the pleasure of to begin with and also who the ombudsman is who answers to the CEO) but then if the same were done by staff it would be considered a nightmare and charges of 'staff running wild without leadership' would be occuring?
Surely you see the issue here without set leadership in a new venture like this. Secrecy and accountability cannot co exist can it?
How would i know if there was a problem any more than anyone would know if there was an inside problem with a staff member. Since the concilators serve at the pleasure of the ombudsman , if there is no ombudsman whose pleasure are they serving? It was the ombudsman position created to help membership and the conciliators arent junior staff members they are there to assist the ombudsman so obviously there needs to be one to oversee them and direct issues to Erwin as needed.
This is not really any more acceptable than it would be acceptable for staff to have no leadership and accountability
