CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Seen parts of it. Hope channel has it broken down into ,I think, 5 shows. Very good. I set my DVR to record series, but it records all, so it's got about 10 of each segment. Lol

I saw only about half of the movie, upto the point after the great disappointment.
I really wish the movie had featured Josiah Litch. Litch predicted the fall of the Ottoman empire to the exact date. It gave great momentum to our movement. Litch also developed the 'pre-advent judgment' message. However after great disappointment, despite the great contribution he made to our pioneer movement, Litch lost faith in our message. He opposed the 'shutdoor' message and eventually went back to the evangelical world he came out of.

What a shame. Yeah, that's what really the first great confirmation was in all this. It also gave confidence that the books of Daniel and Revelation were really unlocked. For those who don't know a lot about it, it's the 5 mo period that most futurism teachers THINK pertains to the tribulation being shortened to. It was really a 150 year period in Ottoman rule just before the territories in question came back under Christian domination. Thanks for bringing that up, because it's as important as any of it as far as unveiling new light.
