Tell me something good about the One True Church

I'm still recovering from the nightmare mass, I attended this morning.
The Holy Catholic Apostolic Church is a beautiful wonderful gift from God to us, it enables us to fulfill the purpose of existence. The modernist and cafeteria catholics sneer at such a view of the Church, and doing everything to strip us of this relationship with God, and I'm letting them win by having this attitude, and forgetting that this morning, I received the One True God, truly present under the guise of bread and wine, at mass. (Like I said, I was reluctant to receive Holy Communion this morning because worried about my anger) I need to remember God's Love for us in giving us the One True Church and all it's beauty, so please, fellow Catholics, talk to me about all the beauty and love God has lavished upon us through the One True Church. Remind me of whom I received, and what He's done for us, and that He truly dwells with us:

One great thing about the church is its sanity. It's not extremely conservative nor liberal, it's the true "Via Media".

The Roman church cannot become anything but Catholic which makes it so great.

Then my parish is not Catholic, I mean, I guess I could have figured that out myself, from the utter lack of love towards God shown there. I seriously need to move to that parish that is Catholic, I can't survive in this parish, it's going to kill my soul, and possibly even my body, considering how stressful it it there.

I really need to move.

I'm really depressed I really need help! I can't stand the fact that my parish, and the Church hierarchy, is full of people, who don't want me to spend eternity with God, and trying to do everything to prevent me!

How can I be a Saint, of I am constantly reminded of this, and constantly having to dodge obstacles to the grace I need? How can I die a martyr, if I don't have the peace die loving God, and instead die hating my enemies?

You need to learn to , as my priest calls it , take yourself outside of yourself when at Services so you can concentrate on what is happening rather than how it is happening.

Liturgy is important cause we are to worship Christ appropriately and reverent, but to really serve Christ one has to feed the hungry, visit those imprisoned, clothe those who're freezing and so on.
If we get to hung up in liturgical disagreements and other parts of the official, visible piety rather than serving Christ like this then we easily end up as goats rather than sheep's at judgement day.

If you're heading for mass, but suddenly you're held up by someone who needs you what do you do?

Serving Christ is far more than making the proper use of latin, it's about surrendering your heart to him.

I pray that we both will learn this.

Then you should pray for him. Doesn't Christ tell us to bless those who curse us and pray for those who persecute us?

Do you think I'm a Saint? Am I like supposed to find a bottle of grace under my pillow or something? I'm weak I'm wounded I need help, I can't survive here, I need a better environment to grow in grace!

And by the way, I've been praying for ALL my priests in both parishes, since the day after the Feast of the Assumption.

I attended Mass at a parish today with altar girls and way too many women doing things they wouldn't have been doing even fifty years ago. But Jesus was in the Eucharist.

Some priests are likely heretics. And that says nothing of Francis. Some Catholic parishes feel more Lutheran than Catholic. But Jesus is there, souls are there we can pray for, and we can pray for our own sinful souls, too.

If my husband says yes. It's a Sunday by Sunday thing right now. He decides where we go, and I pray.

There is hope. Actually that sort of is similar to my situation, I can attend the parish I want to move to on weekdays, but on Sundays, I have to stay in parents town, and attend that town's horrible parish there.

The parish I'm hoping to move to isn't ideal, but it is tolerable. I hope my moving to it, will turning point in my life.

I'll try to keep you in my prayers more.

Requesting threads closed whenever people say something you dislike is the opposite of humility.
I'd recommend listening especially when people challenge your position.
Perhaps the parish and the priests are only the minor part of the issue, perhaps you play a bigger role in this than you realize yourself.

Well, close your thread and continue on with the unhealthy pattern. I pray that you don't lose the grip totally whenever you hit the bottom. Prayers to Mary.

You really need to learn to stop making judgements about other people. When you are at Services you are not really taking part in them - you are analysing everything that's going on.

Btw, if you focus on God rather than your environments you'll grow in peace.
Your focus isn't directed the right way.

I'll be leaving soon. I'm really going to be enjoying my break from CF and some of the people here, I'm definitely going to be adding something to my list of "Things Pope Francis gets right" a certain controversial quote of his has certainly come to mind while reading some of these comments.
