  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi everyone.

I think it's my turn to tell something about me. My real life friends call me Lala. That's my nickname in our town. [My username 'eley' is from the spelling of the first syllable of my nickname]. I am 18 years and 7 months living here on so-called Earth. My dad works as a cook (or a chef for some) abroad. My mom stays at home since her health is unpredictable. I am taking up Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics in one of the prestigious university here in the Philippines. [Thank God for that!].

I am also a Catechist. I am serving God in this way for almost 4 years already -- and as far as I hear it, I know this is my calling and passion. I love teaching Catechism to my students. I teach both in Church and in school. My students and I sing and dance oftenly. And I will never ever be tired of doing and sharing God's Word.

Oh, that's it. It's more than a bit then.

I just joined yesterday, because this website looked cool and I was bored. haha. My name is Jody, and I'm from North Carolina. I am a follower of Christ. I'm 17 and skipped 6th grade, and I graduate in a few days. I'm going to attend Liberty University in 2010 after transferring from the local community college. I will probably major in molecular biology. I have an older brother and a younger sister. I mostly listen to Christian music. My username came from one of my favorite songs. I love reading, puzzles, photography, Italian food, and youtube. I like to dance in the middle of stores with my sister. I like hiking.

So... that was just some random stuff about me

Hey!

I'm secretshadows you can say ss for short if you rather. umm I'll be 17 in a little less than an hour (party time). I'm homeschooled and will start my senior year this fall. Music is a huge part of my life. I rarely listen to secular music though. 95% of my music is Christian. I have taught myself how to play the piano and now I'm working on the drums! I enjoy writing poetry and am currently trying to get some of it published *crosses fingers* I really love riding my bike. I like to ride on nature trails and at the park. I could ride for hours if I had the time!

My parents are divorced and I live with my mom. My dad is an electrician and my mom works some crazy stressful desk job. I have a 20 year old brother and a beautiful 8 month old niece. I have plans of going to the community college here in my town and then transfering to Baylor to become a youth minister.

Yeah thats a bit about me... i rambled too much...

How was everybody's week? Mine was great! I lead this worship dance camp for these little kids and they were so cute! and then we went out to the lake for my cousins 30th birthday and swam around and stuff. aaaaah summer

I LOVE music and I've written a few songs. A few are about God. If you want to listen, ask! I'll give you a link I play the flute, piccolo, piano, and some guitar. I like writing poetry and I LOVE my family. They are my everything. I'll do ANYTHING to express myself. Music, writing, drawing, pretending to be an actress when no one is around, whatever. Lol, sounds good. I was swimming around at a lake this weekend.. We were at our grandparents' summer place for midsummer. (Gosh, my grandma cooks good, I could hire her if she weren't my grandma. ) In the week, oh well, I worked. Oh joy.
