Hwoarang "pwn"? I don't think I understand what you mean by "pwn"; that's a novel expression to me. Could you clarify that for me, please? Thank you.

Well, it seems everyone who has played the latest Tekken games loves Hwoarang; I somehow thought that he was such a punk, though. I suppose that's because of his vendetta with Jin Kazama, who happens to show more mature charisma and a more serious demeanor. It may also be due to his attitude and the manner in which he dresses; oftentimes Baek Doo San, his mentor, has had to chastise him whenever he gets into a street fight.

If you would like to know who I favor, well, I seem to have more intimate knowledge on Heihachi Mishima's fighting style than any other; it seems as if this has took me quite far with the game. They even put Heihachi in Soul Calibur 2, another Namco game that I'm sure you must have heard of and perhaps played as well (I wouldn't be surprised if someone told me they prefer Soul Calibur over Tekken; Soul Calibur 3, slated to be released on October 25 or so, looks to be a real improvement over its predecessor, as I've seen on the Soul Archive website. Soul Calibur 2 is a real gem of a game, and SC3 looks to go much further into the franchise with all the new protocol being placed within the game). I've always been somewhat fond of Lee Chaolan, perhaps due to his pretty boy look (ever seen him with all the women around a swimming pool?) and his silvery hair, or perhaps because of his interest in technological advancements such as the development of Combot in Tekken 4. In Tekken 5, I've become quite fond of Raven, one of the new characters, especially due to his expertise in traditional ninjutsu and his employment with an intelligence agency of sorts (I guess that's one use for a modern-day ninja). Of course, I can't forget Nina and Anna Williams either, especially with the sexy manner in which they dress (though I don't really like the fact that Nina's an assassin and Anna has such a sado-masochistic demeanor about her). Nina always reminds me of Sharon Stone, for some reason.

Anyway, thanks for letting me know what you think (but Hwoarang "pwn"?).

1. pwn
PWN (verb)

1. An act of dominating an opponent.

2. Great, ingenious; applied to methods and objects.

Originally dates back to the days of WarCraft, when a map designer mispelled "Own" as "Pwn". What was originally supose to be "player has been owned." was "player has been pwned".

Pwn eventually grew from there and is now used throughout the online world, especially in online games.
1. "I pwn these guys on battlenet"

2. "This strategy pwns!" or "This game pwn."

hope that helps :)

Whoo, you know a lot, huh? I like Jin too... just I'm not too fond of the fact that he sorta turns evil-ish at the end of T3. His moves are great, though, he's definitely one of the best.

Xiaoyu was another one of my faves, probably because her style is really graceful.

Okay, all of you, thanks for your input, and I hope to "hear" from you again soon (I can hear you in my mind's eye, of course). Well, now I know what "pwn" means... it's not surprising to hear that sort of thing in mentioning someone such as Hwoarang. Lately I seem to have more of a fondness for Paul Phoenix, as I may have mentioned earlier, seeing he is the "toughest fighter in the universe", or so he claims.

Did you know that both Paul Phoenix and Marshall Law are also on the recent Namco fighter called Urban Reign? I rented that game not too long ago, and I actually in some ways enjoyed it better than the Tekken series... then again, I was looking to getting away from Tekken for a brief duration so as to try something different. Lord bless me for that, I can also say... to mature spiritually may mean to make subtle changes in your life from time to time, of course; there ARE redeeming values that I have gained from my intimate knowledge of video games, things of the which I can relate to in the real world, believe it or not; I've even had some demonic forces to rid out of my system much as Jin Kazama has had to try to do as well, and God has granted me a sense of light because of my decision to come out of Satan's darkness. :D

By the way, that brings to mind something that I hope the developers of Tekken will realize if they have not already... in future sequels to Tekken (and we know of Tekken PS3 to some extent, do we not?), I hope to see that Jin learns of an "Angel Gene" that will be the key to ridding himself of the Devil Gene permanently. I know that if you want to be free of the devil, you must come to the light of God (or the heavens, as some would say). Anyway, in the Devil Within game from Tekken 5 (which replaced Tekken Force, for those of you who have not yet played Tekken 5), Jin heard that Jun was alive. I wonder whether or not SHE would have this "Angel Gene" that could be transferred to someone like her son, Jin, or even Kazuya, who also has the Devil Gene (Kazuya would reject it, no doubt, but one who seeks to rid himself of the devil would be interested in gaining something angelic like that). What do you think? Maybe word would get around to Namco about a possibility to add something like that in future installments of Tekken, if it hasn't already. Anyway, let me know what you think would be the best way that Jin could forever rid himself of the Devil Gene. I'm just curious, of course: we'll have to see later how Namco comes with the solution for that problem, be there one. Thanks for your input, and God bless.
