Tekken 6 due out the End of This Year!!!

Tekken 6 comes out this year. It's gonna be tight. There are about 2 or 3 new characters they added to the list, Zafina and Leo. I've seen some videos on youtube today.

Nevertheless, I can vividly remember skipping English class in the 9th grade to go down to the local arcade for rounds of Tekken 1. While I think the Virtua Fighter series is more polished and has more depth, I do enjoy Tekken!

But like you, I also really enjoy Tekken. It still has a lot of depth for a fighting games. The one that really got me hooked (Although I did also enjoy Tekken 2) was Tekken Tag Tournament, though. That game was just awesome in so many ways. I remember when everyone around me was playing this, and I couldn't find anyone that could stuff my Eddy/Lei and Eddy/Jun teams.

VF has so much more depth and style to it though, I could play that game to death. If only it would get the kind of publicity Tekken does in the states. But Tekken is definitely a worthy rival of the series.

After playing pretty much any VF games, I honestly can't say that Tekken has "a lot of depth". More depth than some games... but I don't even see it in the same league as VF.

You're definitely right. It's got enough depth to keep people playing, but Virtua Fighter is just so deep period.

I like Tekken but I wish it were easier to play, yeah I know they already made it easier but I want it even easier. I just don't care for learning complicated strings and moves.

I wish it were like the early days of Street Fighter 2, tactical and fun. I really enjoyed Bloody Roar 4 and King of Fighters 2006, because they were very easy to play, but they didn't seem to catch on the way Tekken did. :....(
