Someone taught me how to put in my aviator from a picture I was given. But I have bad retion skills when it comes to technical stuff. Sorry.

I'm a techno-dork myself, but I'd say you have to right click on it, save it to your own computer and then attach it to a post.

There's probably an easier way, though, brother.

I think what he did wrong was paste a URL from a restricted-access site, so the URL doesn't work for us.

Yeah, it's trying hard to load it.

Skripper, the method you used only works for open-access URLs. The other method is:

... to use the attachment feature of this forum, which gives you the ability to attach files of certain types to your posts. This could be an image, a text document, a zip file etc. There will be a limit to the file size of any attachments you make, as the forums should not be used as an extension of your hard disk!

To attach a file to a new post, click the {Manage Attachments} button at the bottom of the post composition page, then {Browse}, locate the file that you want to attach from your local hard drive, then {Upload}.

Only certain types of files may be attached: these are the valid file extensions for files to be attached to this forum: bmp gif jpe jpeg jpg png.

After posting, the attachment will show up in the body of your message. To view the contents of the attachment (if it is not already displayed) simply click the filename link that appears next to the attachment icon.
