  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

When she's feeling neglected, my dog will walk past me and tap me with her nose, leaving a big, wet nosemark on me. She will do this repeatedly, also tapping me if I walk past her.

But when I don't respond to her tapping, she walks behind me, following me around and repeatedly tapping the back of my leg as I walk.

What does your pet do to get your attention?

I have a cat named Sneezy, and when he wants attention, he'll climb up next to your head, no matter where you are, and headbutt you. It's sooo cute. Lol. My husband will be in the bathroom, and Sneezer will jump on the sink and headbutt him, or we'll be laying in bed, and Sneeze will come up to the pillows and headbutt you. He's so cute. I have another cat named Dottie that licks your toes and fingers when she wants attention. I have very odd animals. Lol.

Chloe, my golden retriever will wait until I am sitting down or standing around (otherwise preoccupied) and she'll put her wet nose up onto the underside of my hand and start "nudging" me for attention. If that doesn't work, she'll jump up and start wagging her tail wildly. She's pretty well-behaved, but when she wants something (or just attention) she'll make sure she gets it! (As I learned one time when I was laying on the couch, watching TV and drifting off to sleep....she couldn't get my attention...so she hopped up on top of me and just stood there wagging her tail....all 86 pounds of her! Eeeps! That got my attention for sure! LOL)

My dog does this too, and he's a Border Collie. Is your dog a Border Collie? :)
