  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

My co-worker is homosexual. He was reading a newspaper and I asked him whether he liked Thom Yorke, the vocalist from Radiohead. He actually said he only listens to Gospel. I was a bit shocked, but then I had a feeling he was being sarcastic as he knows I am Christian. I asked him, which artist does he like and he said 'Jesus'.

Weird. There was a guy I became acquainted with a few years ago. He was friends with some pretty on-fire Christians, but he wasn't a very serious Christian himself (he recently died of an overdose, in fact). He liked to listen to worship music, but only for the music.

Why was it nessecary to bring his sexuality into this?

Maybe he is trying to be obnoxious or annoy you or being sarcastic. But when you're highlighting his sexuality in a post on Worship music by using "my co-worker is a homosexual", as you're opening, maybe he's just getting a vibe off of you, that you're uncomfortable with his sexuality, and playing on that?

Homosexuals are people who seek love, and have turned to their own sex to be fulfilled.

That's not exclusive to homosexuals. Make the first word "heterosexual" and change own sex to opposite sex, and you can describe a good number of single people of marriage-able age.
