This was a vision I had a long time ago, but it was one of those things a person just doesn't forget. I knew the meaning of the dream, but I wanted to share it with others.
I was laying down resting one day and I had my eyes closed but was not asleep.
** I had this vision of people in sky blue robes, hoods pulled over their faces carrying infants babies through a jungle. They were walking in a straight line on a narrow path. There was a wide clearing near a river. Jesus stood on the other side. There were giant leaves floating down the river and would drift to the side of the bank. The robed figures would place the babies, one at a time, on the leaf and the leaf would float over to the other side. Jesus would pick the babies up in his arms as they floated to him.**
The vision ended. Most of it was obvious to me except one part, the leaves.
I knew the babies were newborn Christians. The robed figures were the people who lead them to Jesus. The river- the river of life. The babies crossing over to Jesus was of course, salvation. But why giant leaves? I asked God about it. At first nothing came to me so I pushed it out of my mind. I got up and started doing some housework. I was walking through a doorway (for some reason, God likes to give me answers to questions I've asked when I am crossing thresholds), And the words came to mind mind as if somebody had just spoken them The truth.
I stopped in surprise What?
The truth shall set you free....... I saw a vision of the giant leaves on the water. The leaves symbolized the truth in that vision.
Don't know why God showed this to me, but I didn't get to share it with many folks, so here it is.
