  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

>>Take away my anger

God does not always take away our anger. We just need to learn to redirect it. We should be angry at the devil. But we should not be angry at the people the devil uses against us. The Bible says to pray for them in the hope that they will come to repentance.

Proverbs 6:16-19
These six things the Lord hates,
Yes, seven are an abomination to Him:
[17] A proud look,
A lying tongue,
Hands that shed innocent blood,
[18] A heart that devises wicked plans,
Feet that are swift in running to evil,
[19] A false witness who speaks lies,
And one who sows discord among brethren.

I don't know your story. Anger is usually because something wrong has been done to us. We feel have a right to be angry so we try to hang onto the anger until the wrong has been made right.
The story doesn't always have a happy ending and you are left with that anger. It's self-destructive. Anger destroys you. Sometimes you just have to let it go and move on with life.
However, I will pray that everything works out for you.

I will pray for you Brenda. My suggestion for releasing some of your anger is to pray for those you are angry at. Ask God to bless them and give them the best. It would also help your prayer life if you would pray for others as well. I have always found that everytime I go to bless someone else I recieve more than I give.
