Tag! You're It!

When you were a kid and played a game of tag did you prefer being "it" or not being "it"?
What was your favorite version of tag?

I loved not being "it" , b/c it was fun to run around and hide!
I loved elbow tag and flashlight tag played after hours on a hot summer night.

My favorite version was freeze tag. I preferred not being it because I could never run fast enough to catch people unless they were younger than me. My other favorite version was hide and seek tag. Because it was fun to hide.
The last time I played freeze tag was in highschool I wanted to entertain some students from the grades just below me so we started a game. It was so fun!
I met my best friend by asking her if she wanted to play tag with me. I still occationally start games of tag with siblings and relatives.... like at the dinner table sometimes they participate.

awww; I used to teach kids in my group at VBS how to play elbow tag and it was their new favorite game! I'm glad I left a legacy of elbow tag in like 5 years of being a VBS leader .
