What are your thoughts...is it worth the cash?
"And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ" (Eph. 4:11-12).

In my opinion, Chafer was a man used by God to equip chrisitans with a right understanding of Scripture and to relay His plan for the ages. I would recommend his Systematic Theology at whatever price. I also purchase my study material from CBD.

In Christ,
Tracey

;) You did know it's calvinist...right.
He's dispensational and premillenial. Here's a quote on the set:
from CBD
"It should be noted that Chafer presents the dispensational view of theology as opposed to a Reformed or covenant view"

:p

Even so. I also have Hodges Systematic. It's ok to disagree on Soteriology. I don't ban calvinist authors just because they have a wrong view on Soterios. I strive to be teachable. I have many calvinistic authors and books on TULIP, Calvin, Church history. I've done literally hundreds of hours of study on the two sides, or should I say three.

I'll be at boxing from 10 - 12, and a family get together after that...will be you be in Chatham?
Yeah I'm coming home for my mom's birthday. We'll be there sometime in the early afternoon. I have to shoot over to Wallaceburg and drop off a rug at my aunts but I have a book I'd love to lend you, if you feel like it. I could drop it off somewhere.

Are you going by Pastors place? You could give it to him...
I can. I'll give him a call when I get to town and drop it by his place. Or I'll give it to someone else.. wait.. that won't work because I don't know who you are. You think if I said hey give this to Street Preacher they'd go... OK.. :p

Pastor knows you so that's probably the best route.
