Feel free to state your views, I once believed Western mainstream media and govts, so I understand if you think the Syrian govt is guilty of this war crime and US-NATO invasion/attack warranted. But I ask you to take some slow breaths and remember back to "WMD in Iraq".

This is why I think it is a false flag:

Jesus said "Blessed are the peacemakers".

Well we need some urgently.

Where is the Peace Movement? Where is someone like Martin Luther King Jr? Where is an anti-war sports star or celebrity like Muhammed Ali?

What am I talking about you might say if all your sources are the NYT and Washington Post etc??

Read the articles linked below. The Western publics are being propagandised for an invasion/major attack on the sovereign state of Syria. Not just by proxy rebel/terrrorist groups who all espouse head chopping Wahhabist Islamist fanaticism. No but by US-NATO forces themselves. Based on Assad has gassed his own people. Well if you read the following it becomes very implausible that the Syrian army (who have outright denied it) gassed anyone. The evidence points to the current incarnation of Al-Qaeda in Syria and their propaganda White Helmet brigades as setting up a false flag operation or taking advantage of Syrian airplanes bombing one of their arms depots that stockpiled chemical weapons. Because so far the only conclusive proof of chemical weapons in the Syrian war has been that the terrorist groups have used them - e.g. regularly shelling Western Aleppo from East Aleppo, and in the East Ghouta attack in 2013 that was fully exposed by Pulitzer Prize winning journalist Seymour Hersh.

Sure Iraq, Libya and Syria were not perfect countries, though religious minorities were protected, women had more rights and standard of living was fairly good. Taliban Afghanistan was much worse place to live (although for first and only time they stopped the opium/heroin trade from there). But there was relative peace. In contrast the "War on Terror" has led so far to 2 million dead in Middle East and North Africa from Bush/Blair/Obama/Hillary wars (at behest of Saudi Arabia, Israel, Gulf monarchies), millions more refugees.
Now with a Trump war - it will be different. Russian and Iranian troops are embedded throughout Syrian govt territory. This means war with Russia and Iran. If their homelands are attacked by NATO, the SCO treaty would bring in China and a few central Asian countries on the Russian/Iranian/Syrian side.

The slide to mayhem. We in the comfortable fat West won't get away with just watching on our TVs (unless we're family of dead and maimed veterans that is) this time. Got a bomb shelter?

Madness. And if any think "oh great Armageddon, I'll get raptured" - then I just cannot fathom that attitude. It seems a million miles away from Our Lord Jesus and his sermon on the mount and his call for us to be peacemakers!

If you're wondering why "Assad must go" and Syria be destroyed - rather than say... the King of Saudi Arabia (that represses women, chops of heads in public and hangs headless corpses all the time in public squares, promotes Wahhabist ideology of Al-Qaeda and ISIS, supports those terrorist organisations) must stay (and buy more US and UK weapons than any other nation with a military budget bigger than Russia's) and be bowed and scraped to by Obama, Prince Charles etc - then consider:

Saudi Arabia cannot stand an Arab nationalist state that allows religious freedom to extent of protecting the oldest Christian churches in the world, moderate Sunnis, Alawites, Shias, Druze, Yazidis, Kurds - all living if not in total harmony at least in a civil society of Syrian identity. Furthermore Saudi Arabia fears and hates Iran and Syria is an ally of Iran. Furthermore Saudi and Qatari gas/oil pipelines could flow to Europe through Syrian territory - but just before the Arab Spring spontaneously erupted in Syria, Assad said no to such a pipeline.

Israel wants a weak divided mess next door, not a strong nation of 24 million who support Palestinians more consistently than any other country.

The West wants to undercut Russian oil/gas supplies with cheap direct pipelines from the Persian Gulf monarchies.

So - 1/2 million dead so far, 8 million refugees, will these figures translate into billions including you and I and our loved ones? What would Jesus say? What would Martin Luther King say? What would a decent 1960s/70s peace movement be saying?

Yes Another Lazarus, there is oodles of evidence that an evil cabal or crime syndicate of elite billionaires perpetrate war and mayhem in their quest for global domination.

Coming back to the Syrian gas attack, it is worth saying more about the 2013 sarin gas attack in Ghouta near Damascus. At the time in almost identical newsprint and headlines the Western media screamed that Assad was gassing his own people and the West must attack and invade to protect the innocent. However if you recall, Sergey Lavrov the Russian Foreign Minister said to John Kerry the US Secretary of State, what would it take to stop the invasion. Kerry said if Assad gave up all his chemical weapons. Within a day Assad agreed and this was done and verified.

Then Pulitzer prize winning journalist Seymour Hersh (amongst others) uncovered that the Ghouta atrocity that killed over a 1,000 people, was perpetrated by a rebel/terrorist group to blame it on the Assad govt. This was later confirmed by the Turkish main opposition party's investigation and that the sarin gas was supplied via Turkey to the terrorist group. Seymour Hersh's articles were published in some British and other mainstream Western media but totally omitted from the US mainstream media. So if you still think you can understand world events by listening only to CNN, ABC, MSNBC, NPR, NYT, WaPo etc - forget it!

Seymour Hersh’s News Report Banned in U.S., is Finally Confirmed in Turkey

Seymour Hersh won his Pulitzer Prize during the Vietnam War for investigating the 1968 My Lai massacre - when a Vietnamese village of several hundred civilians was massacred by US GI soldiers. An officer, Lt. Calley, was court martialed and sentenced for life, though he has always said he was following orders from his commander (which brings to mind the "Phoenix Program" of barbaric torture and killings of suspected Viet Cong and the idea of "destroy a village to save a village (from communism)" - exemplified by the video from helicopters of napalming villages). I was only 12 years old when I recall reading my father's TIME magazine account of the court martial and the massacre and grizzly photos of dead Vietnamese including babies. It woke me up in 1971 to the idea of war as monstrous, and that the USA and Western allies were not always as good freedom and democracy loving as my father insisted. I realised at that age that the anti-war protesters had a point. That set me and my father into vigorous philosophical and political debates from my early teens and a life long interest in geopolitics.

Hersh's reporting is one reason the Vietnam War ended as US public opinion was sickened by massacres and TV footage of napalmed villages.

So Hersh showed that the 2013 Syrian gas attack was a false flag to incite a US-NATO strike against the Assad govt. History tends to repeat.

By the way, there was plenty of video of East Aleppo rebels/terrorists firing gas into Syrian govt controlled West Aleppo over recent years (until East Aleppo was liberated from terrorists/rebels defeated). None of this made the Western mainstream media.

It is this consistent one sided hysterical reporting that is so suspicious. What about 7 million Yemenis (the number estimated to be in famine, the country's total population is 24 million) currently starving in a war induced famine due to Saudi bombardments and blockades of ports? Virtually nothing in the media.

.

Assad is the legitimate President of Syria, as well as Khadaffy was.
They think its easy to topple down Assad as they did to Khadaffy.

I'm fairly confident it was the Syrian government. I don't see that it follows that the US nor NATO needs to invade anyone as a result.
I find it difficult to believe that the Syrian Government would ever want to run the risk of utilising chemical weapons. In my opinion it makes more sense that these type of weapons were being used by the Islamo-terrorists possibly with the tacit support of the US to try and discredit Assad and the Syrian Government; if the US were not involved I would also expect them to remain quite in the event that they had evidence that that they were fired by the Islamo-terrorists that they have been backing for many years.

They've done it previously

Uh-huh. Funny thing about chemical weapons, they require a significant amount of technical base. The sort of thing usually only available to nation states.

Read my original post. Seymour Hersh investigated the 2013 sarin gas attack in Syria that the Syrian govt was accused of. The rebels/terrorists did it. They got the sarin via Turkey. Also was evidence the sarin came from Libya after the fall of Gaddafi via Turkey, along with many of the militants.

Hersh, despite being a famous journalist and Pulitzer Prize winner who uncovered My Lai massacre in Vietnam and Abu Ghraib prison torture and debauchery in Iraq - had his reports on the real culprits in the 2013 sarin gas attack totally censored by the US mainstream media.

So Armoured if you only get your news from the US MSM then that is maybe why you still say "they've done it previously" - when that official conspiracy theory has been debunked.
