  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Swine Flu: Request your prayers

I'm sure you all have heard the news about the swine flu. I'm going to keep this post simple and ask for your prayers. At this point, the world is watching to see if this will grow into a serious pandemic, or if it will fade away. Numbers of people with the disease are growing, and I'm asking that everyone please pray tonight that this does not get worse and fades away quickly. :prayer:

I know I'm scared and I don't know what else to do but wash my hands frequently and PRAY!

Psalm 91,

He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high, shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my Fortress: My God: in Him will I trust,

Lord let Your peace and wisdom and strength be upon Your people at this time...draw us closer to You and give us the grace to share and honor Your Son Jesus Christ as the opportunities arise...save souls I pray at this time Father...You are a refuge Lord a fortress a strong tower we will call upon the Lord...so shall we be saved from our enemies. :bow::pray::pray::pray::amen:
