Sweetness & Kindness (Poem)

[Allen of the Cross]

This is the third poem I ever wrote the Lord. I hope it blesses you in some way. God be with you.

Sweetness resides in Your abode, O Lord.
Kindness dwells in Your home, O God.
You cherish kind deeds, as You command loving actions.
Wearing mercy as a cloak, Your creation is loved.
I will love You, my wonderful God, with my entire being.

You sit on Your mighty throne alone.
There are many other spirits, but no other gods.
The glory You maintain none other can claim.
The most humble of us sits on the highest throne.
I will cherish my dear Creator with my entire being.

Your hearts beauty is unmatched, O God.
In all my days, I have never witnessed one as kind.
Your care is for the lowly and poor in spirit,
Your love is for the meek and humble.
However, You send rain on the just and on the unjust.

I will love You until time stops.
I will fill my cup with Your loving mercy.
I will adore You until the end of time.
I will express my affection for all of eternity.

Where only He belongs to be, as He is Lord of lords, King of kings, and Supreme over all Creation!
