Sweet Love​

Oh love sweet love
How I longed to know thee.
I've kept guard over my eyes and heart
Only to know you're the one for me.
For time does not linger
And many have crossed my path,
Yet I place my hope in loving you
Before facing death's wrath.
And when this day is known
Our hearts will be as one,
With years ahead for us to share
Each day with the rising sun.
Faithfully, we'll walk hand in hand
Facing life's daily needs.
Until that day through death we'll part
