I am currently on an annual visit to Ræva, Norway. I woke up at 6 in the morning due to a massive swarm of locusts.
My question is: Did the devil make me hallucinate (my sister didn't see anything), or was it a sign of the end times sent by God?
What does scripture say about this?

God bless you all

Locusts do exist outside the bible. Maybe the swam blew through and your sister just missed it. On the other hand in the end times it's said that there will be an increase in signs and wonders. I had a very unusual cloud formation that traveled through my back yard about 3 weeks ago, one nice afternoon. It was almost smoke like and moved like no fog or smoke or cloud I have ever seen before. So Christians seem to be seeing "things" so to speak. I'm not worried about it though.

Thank you for the response!
There are however no locusts in Norway.
Well as you posted I did edit my post to include more, go back and have a look see!
And incidentally, I took my experience as a sign of Holy Spirit activity. Not sure why but that was my take on it at the time.

A lot of people 'hallucinate' like that every day,
(1) on drugs (prescribed medicine; very common side effect)
(2) simply dehydrated (very common) or mal-nutrition (very common)
(4) not from God
(5) not from the devil
(3) cia electronic brain manipulation / black copters/ like russia has used for decades.
(14) prankster (drew a gun)

Ya, probably John was hallucinating before he wrote the book of Revelation or Paul when Jesus knocked him off his horse. Moses and the burning bush ? Pentecost, were they all on hooch when Jesus came through the wall ? Some people thought so. Not me.

Well it brought you here so it did have some effect on you.

There is no prophetic significance to your vision in that it makes no prediction.
Have you had an interest in Christian end times events prior to this vision?
What is your relationship with Jesus prior to this vision?

I believe the latter days events described in the Bible and the return of Jesus is near. Not yet as in not tomorrow or next week or month but near as in within the next 30 years or less and could be much less. Perhaps this vision was to create an interest in the return of Jesus and what is to take place in the latter days.

I have been a believer all my life, almost. Ever since my uncle died in a grease fire. He was a believer himself, and I at first wanted to honor his memory in some way. With that came an interest the end times, naturally.
I feel like me and Jesus are pretty tight. I consult him, through prayer, on various matters.

Maybe it was a swarm of something else. Hard to tell if they are locusts unless you see one up close.
I have thought about this a while, but I don't know what would swarm that way in Norway, Ræva is far north, and there are virtually no insects there.

Nah,

YHWH vouched for all those you mentioned in the BIBLE.

The population today ? YHWH mentioned it too..... a lot of warnings about it....
Thank you for the response, do you know where I can find information about this in the Bible?

It very well could've been a vision from God showing you the time is near, a warning, also to get your attention to the matter of His return which is soon.

I hallucinated a few times before. It's always the same and it creeps me out. I start out sleeping, and "dreaming" that there's a giant spider crawling down the wall above my bed, so I wake up, open my eyes and turn to look at the wall, and the spider is still there. It slowly fades away, but I can clearly still see it after I'm awake, for sometimes up to 30 seconds or so.

Creepy, but I don't think it's from Satan. It's just from my imagination.

I get that same feeling. Turns out there's nothing there.

Golly, you should get that checked out.

Since there are potential end times implications, it must be a dispensational spider. Apologies to spiders.
