  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

She sat in her rocking chair methodically rocking back and fourth remembering her youth and life with great fondness. The hopes and dreams of days gone by brought a smile to her warn tired mouth. The vision of how she was going to save the world from the evils of uncaring people. She was going to nurture all those lost ones who were left alone, hurting and left without help. She never would have imagined it would be herself left alone, hurting and without help in her old age. She wasn’t bitter nor did she blame the children, after all she taught them to be self sufficient. She didn’t blame that tall handsome fellow who sweeps her off her feet, who couldn’t live without her in his life, some 50 years ago. Her life with him was the highlight of her existence on this earth. The memories of their great tender love, the experiences they shared, would sustain her for another 50 years if it had to. Oh, he was a dandy he was. They could “cut a rug” better than any other couple on the waxed dance floor. The way their bodies could bend and sway to the beat of the music brought a twinkle in her old drained eyes. They were the envy of the neighborhood, everyone knew of their great devotion to each other. No matter how tough life was He was always there to make things easier. No matter how tired she was he was always there to hold her up. During the sad days he was there to dry her eyes. She laughed right out loud when she thought of the temper tantrums she threw, and how he gently smiled and teased her out of them. Never could stay mad at such a charmer as he was. He was certainly the reason she existed, the love of her life and she cherished every moment they spent together. Life was great for as long as they were together.

The day he left was such a beautify day. He had been so worried about the house he was building for them. The pain he had suffered the past few years was more then either one of them could bear. He didn’t die, you know, he had a house to finish in heaven and would be waiting for her when it was finished. He had the floor plans all laid out and had been working on it for years before he left to finish it. There would be four pillars in the ball room, he hated those pillars but couldn’t accomplish the rest of the house without them. She loved the idea of the pillars and could see the dancers maneuvering around them. He did worry about those pillars and had a couple of ideas to improve on them, that’s why he had to leave before her.

The rhythmic rocking of her chair was making her sleepy, oh, how her bones ached. She longed for those days gone by. She longed for the day she would be back with him. She closed her eyes only for a moment, to wake in the arms of her love. They were standing in front of the most beautiful mansion in heaven she had ever seen. There beside them was Jesus His arms opened to embrace both with the agape love only He could give. He said “Welcome home my children I‘ve been waiting for both of you.”
