I kind of left and have been gone for a good minute now. I drop in occassionally as does BM (Blessed Man) and others - and when some newcomcers seek questions and some of the Anti-WOF gang try some of the old tricks, we all collectively help each other to keep it real/show the beautiful side of WOF that no one wants to discuss - and expose the ugliness often hidden by many who condemn all aspects of it (more here, here , here and here).Ah, the Carmies, they're so silly. Tell them hello for me will ya'. MIght drop by there one day
There was a LOT of stuff on there. Most of it were articles refuting Hanegraaff, Chuck Smith, some lesser known anti-wof sites, and refuting the lies told on Kenyon. However, you can e-mail me at victoriousword@gmail.com and I can send you some of the articles.
You can also visit our church's web page where I have placed the free books and many of the Bible studies and sermon outlines that we used to have on the site:
Victorious Word Christian Fellowship, Pawtucket, Rhode Island
The site was a mixture of a lot of things back then but the new site will be committed primarily to standing against heresy hunting.
P.S. You can also get my book, "Miracles are for TOday" which refutes cessationist propaganda if your interested in dealing with cessationists. Just check out the bookstore on the cite.
I'm late to chime.....but a big YES!! bring it back. Thanks for the input guys. All positive so far. At the time it went down I have to admit that I had the case of the "stupids". I didn't want to be known all over the WWW as a WoF apologist. Ah, but I have awakened.
Still working on the church's web site but will make the WoF Apologetics web site a future project.
Any other WoFers want to chime in?
No fair!!! I wanna do lunch with the likes of you guys!!!On a different topic - I just realized that I am only about 30 min. north of you - (along the RI/CT border in Connecticut)... we should do lunch!
Yes, it's safe.....well, as long as you clicked on this link in Harry's post: Victory Through The Word MinistriesI clicked on the link you provided and it said "Malicious Content" and that it was dangerous to continue?
Troy - I vote 100% for the site. Have heard much good about the content that you shared on the old site and would love to have that available for many.

I referenced and studied the articles when the site was up. And I've missed it since it's been down. I even used the "way back machine" to get alook at it. But it's just not the same as an active site.Hi All
Since my site has been down (to the joy of the Orthodoxy/Heresy Hunters) I have had a number of requests to put it back up. I am considering it. So I want to hear from you WoF folks.
1. Is there a need to have a WoF apologetics site?
2. If not, why not?
3. If so, what do you expect from one?
Somple questions. Hope to hear from you guys.
More than understand..as I figured numerous times that is what you were up to since I've had many family/friends do the same. You end up doing apologetics regardless since it was about lifestyle primarily as an answer to others in their attacks - and thus, by taking time to manage the family the Lord gave you, you end up building up stories/resources on how faith works pratically - and thus, testimony will always stand to scruitny to an accusation from others who NEVER lived out what you didG2
Thanks for not allowing lies to go on about me and others over at CARM. When we started the church I was spending much of my time doing outreach and evangelism and just did not feel I had time anymore for engaging the CARMIES. I decided to leave the Word-Faith apologetics alone and just concentrate on making disciples and teaching them God's Word. .
So true..and I've noticed that many are often taught to stereotype what the Faith Movement is - thinking it only got started in the 70s/80s and is represented by big names today who speak for it - and yet when you go through history/see clear examples (George Washington Carver being one amongst others) that were present for centuries, others realize how things are more connected that they were told. Most Christians, especially baby Christians, don't even know what a "Word-Faith MOvement" is. Nor do they know what is an Arminian, a Calvinist, etc. so for the last couple of years I concentrated on just pastoring and evangelizing.
It is only recently that the Lord has awakened me to the fact that He wanted me to also begin concentrating on defending the principles of faith again, not for the sake of the critic, but for the sake of the seekers and those WoFers who are sometimes assaulted by the critics and don't know how to respond.
However, I commend you and ABM for taking those guys on

Thanks Juelri. I have a few more updates to do with our church's web site and then the work shall begin on the new and improved Word-Faith apologetics website.
I think that's a great idea, personally - although even with that in mind, people that want to bash will always find reasons to do so...and that can be a negative when it comes to the fact that there are many who disagree with WOF on differing issues and yet they know how to be gracious/sensible in discussion with each other.Well it would be great if we had one, tagged with our forum here.
It would give our critics a forum to question and debate our Faith.
This would help in our fellowship not having to fend bashing when we are discussing our proprietary concerns.
Was letting you know that it seems some of the folks over at CARM have been a bit agitated at what was said here. Most Christians, especially baby Christians, don't even know what a "Word-Faith MOvement" is. Nor do they know what is an Arminian, a Calvinist, etc. so for the last couple of years I concentrated on just pastoring and evangelizing.

GG,
What do consider your theological bent, Hebrew Roots? Messianic, Word Faith, a combination, or other???
Remove the Beam ...This is an interesting passage...
James 4:16-17
English Standard Version (ESV)
16 As it is, you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil. 17 So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.
Okay Okay... Here is the story... I was once called all kinds of vile things by our favorite Bruh for discussing forum issues and the various people who were harrasing me at another forum. What was said were the same things that we posted here. Nothing Different. Between Bruh and Caleb411, I, and others, were these hideous gossiping faithless orthodox. Now the reason that I quoted the above verse is because the accuser claimed to never talk about the orthodox in other forums. We now see that he does...Additionally, he is posting these thoughts in Word Faith Forum where you have to be WOF. It seems our favorite Bruh distances himself from and also defends WOF in this forum... Elsewhere, he joins in a forum where you are expected to be WOF to participate. Now is our favorite Bruh really WOF or not? Does he gossip at another forum or not? BTW, the CARM comments were completely unsolicited by the OP....
I have a few more updates to do with our church's web site and then the work shall begin on the new and improved Word-Faith apologetics website.
