Surrounded On All Sides-Please Help

Anyone else in urban missions?

Is there anyone else who is finding themselves surrounded on all sides by the enemy?

In particular, in the cities while evangelizing?

Its so hard some times to see the good that we might be possibly doing

Amidst the constant threats of crime, homelessness, gangs, hustling, prostitution and so on.

Most do not repent

This is the key to transformation

Trump wants to clean up the cities

We need his help

It breaks my heart to see yet another Narcan vending machine set up in a new location

Because it symbolizes the constant struggle with ever new downward trending cities, buckling under the duress

With no place to afford to live, cut programming and lots of hopelessness

We reach out....but in these times, can people truly change their lives around?

We invite people to services and most often, they do not come

They keep doing what they're doing in order to survive due to having no where to rest

We need housing with programming required to stay there

So today, as in an answer to prayer, I met a man who was struggling to have enough food to eat and to just survive in general.

He knew Jesus, and was concerned about whether Jesus still loved him, because he was afraid he had blasphemed the Holy Spirit.

We talked a little bit in this amazing and unexpected encounter, and he said he repented of all his sins and asks to do his will every day in prayer.

He asked me to pray for him to have the strength he needs every day to get through these tough times

I told him that I would most definitely pray for him but only after addressing with him the fact that he had not blasphemed the HS based upon all that he shared with me.

I invited him to come to receive Holy Communion.

Strange days strange times, feeling overwhelmed and then this happens!

A fish.

Thank you Lord Jesus!
