Just thought it would be nice to share what we have done for others or what others have done for us.

This thread idea came from Porkweez's blog entry from yesterday. (Used with her permission)

When was the last time you did something so unexpected and so crazy that it sent you into a fit of giggling? Even thinking of the thing you want to do makes you grin like an idiot?

I asked myself that question last night. I asked myself when was the last time I did something that was truly the element of surprise. I though and thought and couldn't come up with anything. How sad! Then it hit me. If you do something unexpected and crazy you're usually doing it for or with someone. So it blesses two people, not just you but the one you surprise. You're thinking of someone elses' happiness in an unselfish way. That's the way it's supposed to be.

I challenge anyone reading this blog, today, to think of something fun, unexpected and maybe even a touch crazy to surprise someone you love. It could be as small as buying flowers to give to your wife, giving someone a good back scratching when they are tired or as outlandish as deciding to hop on a plane to be able to say hi to someone dear to you. I personally like the last thing. Yes, that's the one I'm going to choose.

I love getting surprise messages in my guestbook.

I love the kind things people say to me. They touch my heart more than these people know and God always sends these 'angels' when I need them the most.

I use to be one of the first persons into the office building where I worked.
On Monday mornings I liked to start the week by cleaning my computer screen.
I figured while I had the computer screen spray and rag...
I matter as well go around and clean other people's screens too.
It was cool when people got in and settled and realized they could actually see the screens better.
Such a simple thing to do that really BRIGHTENED others days.

Random acts of kindness and surprises need not be grand gestures.
