Super Praise report!!

A new family moved next door to us about a month or so ago. We met them shortly after they moved in and I asked them if they were looking for a church. That is all I asked, but God used that one little question to open up a door to this family's heart!!

We kept up a running dialogue for the last few weeks. They asked lots of questions about my beliefs and I tried my best to answer them. I could really the Spirit moving in me and helping me. They didn't have any Bibles so we took them to a book store and helped them pick out a translation they were comfortable reading.

Anyway, to make a long story short...the husband came over last night to tell me he got saved!!! He met another Christian at the firing range (he is in the security business) that led him in the prayer! God works in mysterious ways!! Since they were at a firing range the man that prayed with him didn't have a Bible, so I got to lead him through the scriptures and show him what he had done and more importantly, what God had done for him. It was really exciting!!

Oh, just to add another praise to this - I also was privileged to lead a man to Christ on Sunday at church (I am an altar counselor)!!!! I praise God for these new brothers and that God has used me in their lives!! He is truly an awesome God!!

Anyway much has been said lately here about planting, watering, and reaping. Looks like you are getting experience all the way around. What a thrill.

It's amazing to see how when God moves and does something he often uses more than one person to carry out his will. How he can place just the right people in the right place, at the right time. Our God is truly an awesome God!

I love hearing good news for a change, don't you? I had lived close to one woman for over a year and never spoke to her. But as the Lord would have it one day I was crossing the street with my kids and she was at the corner crossing also. We started speaking, she told me she was a christian and she was interested in finding a small church to worship and fellowship. I invited her to mine, she eventually became a member and I do believe she is one of the sweetest saints I've seen around. She has been such a mentor and friend to me. I love her like family and I praise God for having us meet . She has been a wonderful inspiration to me.
