Summer Vacation!!

Woohoo! I made it through finals and my first year of college. I could not have done it without God pulling me through it. Without Him I would even be making good grades and I probably would have dropped out by now but through Him I have kept going. I set my site on my goal of a teacher and I'm going to make it the next 3 yrs with God's help. PRAISE THE LORD!!!

Congrats on making it through your first year! I still have one final left, then I'll be through my second, also persuing a degree in education! Have you gotten into any of your education classes yet, or are you still just working on the basics? Have a wonderful, relaxing summer!

Well I have already did two field experiences- which in our school you do three. They are going and observing a teacher for an hour a day once a week for a semester. I aslo took a Intro to teaching class my first semster. Next semester I will be taking a computers for teachers class- it helps with lesson plans and a one of my psych classes that is for education. Plus another field experience. In the spring next year I will be starting to get into my methods classes. Then its practicums my junior year and student teaching my senior year.

Congrats! I too just finished my first year of college, and my grades were better than what I did in high school...I couldn't have done it on my own. on top of that, I have grown so much in God! He is so incredible! Have a blessed summer break!

I know the great feeling...I just finished my finals too. Eventhough I think I could have done better...its a good feeling to be done. AHH...the glory of summer.
