Sufferings are given blessings.
When we are mocked,
because of our faith in Christ.
We should rise up in great joy,
because great is our price in Him.
Our true hope is in Christ,
He is the anchor of our faith.
In Him we are safely saved,
in Him we are promised eternal life.
When we encounter trials,
we shouldn't be surprised.
As the testing of our faith is at hand,
and the refining process of God is at work.
We should learn to rejoice,
when we encounter trials of different kinds.
As through trials we learn more patience,
and by this we also will be strenghtened more in endurance.
When we suffer for our faithfulness to Christ,
we should be encouraged.
As our time of sufferings are short lasting, compared to the coming eternity awaiting us.
In our given struggles,
God is at work with us.
Even through our times of troubles,
we are blessed by Him beyond measure.
So we must not give up,
but keep on running the race set before us.
We must not give up the fight,
even though the Lord goes before us.
As the battle is the Lord's,
and He directs our steps.
Our fight isn't fought alone,
as He fights for us!
In our most darkest times,
He shines in our midst.
And the times we may feel alone,
He is there comforting us with His staff and rod.
