Stupid basal thermometer

I purchased a basal thermometer to chart my tempts but when I got it out of the package it only reads up to a 10th of a degree (.0) rather than a 100th (.00) of a degree.

I'm not sure what makes this different than a normal thermometer. Can I still use it to chart?

yes you can, on the chart that I am using it only goes to the tenth

Mine goes to a tenth as well, and I use it for charting. Shouldn't be a problem.
