CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Oh you mean The Cat Returns? The Red Pig? I havnt heard of that one before and it wasnt in the list on the Ghibli site, hmmm ill have to search for that one.... Kiki's delivery service and Whisper of the heart and M neighbour totoro are my faves i do really like others but dont want to bore you

Is that the company that makes childrens anime? Ive seen Spirited Away, thats the only one I think Ive seen.

Altho princess mononoke is more directed to an older audience about all the other movies or for kids....

....and adults.

Princess Mononoke has always been a favorite of mine, probably because the first time I watched it I had to go through such a trial to get it. Walked a mile and a 1/2 round trip to the nearest blockbuster with my brother because my parents were 90 miles away and forgot to leave us the keys to the other car
That is one experience I never want to relieve, however I have watched the movie about 10 times since then so it was worth the blisters

It is based on the series by Ursula K. Leguin. I heard about it coming out about a year ago. A few years ago Miyazaki wanted to do the books as film and she refused. Then while he was in the midst of doing Howl's Moving Castle she decided to let him. Since he was in the middle of another film I believe his son is the one responsible for making this film...

theres still a couple of films that I haven't seen, but ive watched most of them now. i'd say my least favourites are probably only yesterday and whisper of the heart. and I cant watch mononoke coz it freaks me out XD
