Struggling with Depression

Hello forum. My name is Shaun and I am 25 years old from Pennsylvania. I struggle with depression on a regular basis. Thankfully I am taking medications which keep me away from suicidial tendencies. I guess we all go through life struggling too make sense of lifes troubles. Luckily I have a little boy named Deiner whom I sponsor through Children International. He is now 12 years old and he is what keeps me going. I recieve letters from him weekly. He is a great friend. I guess we all need friends in our lives . If anyone is struggling with depression, feel free too send me a message here. We can always talk. Thanks.

Yeah I am also struggling with depression and have been in and out of spiritual chrisitan depression.

It has been a hard battle.

Recently, not long ago, God broke me through HEAVY DEPRESSION!

I now seek happiness in God and have grown my faith and fellowship with many christian friends, even folk from CF. There is just so many exciting things in life that has happened and I am really thankful for God pushing me through the agony of depression.

If something bothers you which makes you depress - then CHANGE and PRAY! It is the only way to break through. Prayer is really powerful and there is nothing impossible with God.

Dear brothers and sisters, I urge you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to join me in my struggle by praying to God for me. Do this because of your love for me, given to you by the Holy Spirit.

I hope I did not rant on too much, but I hope this helps some folk.

I know what you go through I struggle with depression everyday. Sometimes I can barely get out of bed. I have been on medication for the past 5 years. It is hard to find others that can understand what I am going through. If you want to talk I am here.

i was suffering with a bad depression and thanks to the lord he got me through.i was introduced to a christian cousillor who i felt the lord brought me to...it was brilliant and i finally discovered what sparked of my depression and i learned to not be afraid of my emotions...afterall God made us with these emotions....
