Chapter 1
Part 1
Part 1
Andrew kept his head up trying to stay awake while Ms. Ballard taught everyone in the room about Literature. He did not get a good night's sleep and he was pretty tired from staying on the computer most of the night. His eyes felt heavy and he wanted to lay on his desk and rest but he knew that his Literature teacher would stop her lesson and tell him to wake up. That would have been embarrasing.
"Ugh... hurry up already...." Andrew thought to himself as he took a look at the clock that was put up on the side of the wall. It was near 1:30 P.M which meant that it would be 4th period by then. "Yes, thank you lord." Andrew thought to himself reliefed that the literature class would be over in a matter of minutes.
"Ok it's almost time to go." Ms. Ballard said walking over to the lights which were near the door. She flipped the switches up which turned on the lights in the room. The lights illuminated the darkness and it took a small amount of time for everyone's eyes to get used to the light once again after being taught a lesson for about an hour and thirty minutes in the darkness. "Now remember to finish the worksheet as homework for tonight."
Andrew picked his books and school supplies from the floor and stood up from his desk. He streched and looked around the room. Everyone was doing the same as everyone left the room except for Ms. Ballard who had to do planning while we were all at our next class. The next class for Andrew was art which was fun if you goofed around but you could result in a failing grade if you do so. Andrew did goof around a bit but he tried his best in art. He still has a failing grade in that class and he's good at drawing cartoons and other drawings.
As he walked down the hallway, he passed many other people who were heading off to their classes. He held all of his books and such with his right arm while he opened the door up ahead with his left. Taking a left he headed off to his art class which was in a room to the right. He noticed that there was a line of people his age standing there.
"The teacher's gone again... jeez." Andrew said to himself in a soft voice, joining the line of students who were waiting for their art teacher to arrive.
"Hey Andrew." Cedric said starting a conversation as he walked to the back of the line with Andrew.
"Oh hey Cedric. Made any new drawings?" Andrew replied.
"No not yet, but I will make some drawings later today."
Cedric was known for his artistic skills and his kind attitude. He was always friendly towards others and he loved to draw. If someone had made fun of Cedric he would just ignore it and get on with his life. It is unknown if Cedric was a christian or not but he had the attributes of a kind and gentle Christian that Andrew wanted to become.
"Ok that's cool." Andrew said looking up the hallway.
He saw the white-haired woman who had to use a cane to walk around. She was known as Ms. Judy, the art teacher of the High School. She was also kind to those who are kind towards her. Most of the time she is made fun of by others for her looks and the way she is. No one knows if she is affected by the comments or not.
"Look, here comes Ms. Judy big booty." Levi whispered to his friends as he laughed at the old woman. Andrew felt sorry for her and wished that she wasn't tortured by others because the way she has been.
Andrew was known as a quiet and seldom person. He was respected by many but he was made of before because of the people he used to hang out with. Now'a'days he does some crazy stuff like throw things and help others pull off pranks. He does have a kind attitude and a good personality that everyone likes but most of the time he is a quiet person.
Ms. Judy made her way towards the wooden door with the room key in her left hand while her right hand held onto the cane. She unlocked the door and everyone including herself walked into the cold classroom. There was paint on the floors as well as on the table from where the students that were in her class from earlier periods painted at. Andrew sat down at a table as three other students joined him there. Two of them were his best friends while the other was just a friend that hanged out with him occasionally.
"Alright I made this game up today. This is how it goes, we spin a pencil and whoever it points at gets a point. Whoever gets three points is a gay person!" Josh said pulling out his No.2 pencil.
"Well we already know that Adam is gay so it's just between us three." Andrew remarked.
"Hey! Man I'm not gay, let's just play the game." Adam replied in a serious tone.
Josh smiled as he spinned the pencil. It spun for a little bit but it pointed directly at Colton who sat right beside of Andrew while Adam and Josh sat across the both of them.
"Agh..." Colton sighed as Josh wrote down a point for Colton.
Josh spun the pencil once again and it didn't point at no one.
"Agh, let's spin again." Josh said ready to spin his pencil again. He was then interrupted by Ms. Judy who was about to start her lesson for that day. "Here we go again.." Josh moaned.
"Yesterday we studied some of the basic colors. Now we'll go in depth of some more colors for today. I want everyone to take a white sheet of paper and make a color wheel with some of the more colors there is." Ms. Judy informed as she took out a pile of white sheets of paper. She walked around to each table giving everyone a sheet of paper.
The art class went pretty much the same with everyone making their color wheel and making conversations. After two hours of doing art work it was nearing 3:00 P.M which meant that it was time to go home. Everyone loved the end of the day where they get on the buses and go back to their home.
"Finally it's over, whew." Andrew said as he took his supplies and walked out of the room.
"Yeah, Ms. Judy can be a prick sometimes." Adam replied looking up ahead.
"Well at least it's over. Hey, you want to see if you could come over to my house?" Andrew asked.
"Umm... sure. I'll ask my mom when I get home." Adam replied.
"Cool."
Andrew and Adam walked out of the school building and walked seperate ways towards their buses. As Andrew walked towards his bus, Josh came out of nowhere and pushed Andrew.
"Hey man I'll see you later!" Josh said running off.
Andrew didn't say anything as he turned back around and walked towards the bus door. Just then Chris Hall stuck his head out the window and looked at Andrew.
"Hey! You going to take that?" Chris asked.
"Hey, he knows not to mess with me." Andrew said looking around.
Andrew hated to fight and he thought it was wrong. He always liked to keep peace and to be friends with everyone.
"Just go kick his a**!" Chris yelled.
Andrew just walked off trying to ignore Chris as he made his way towards his bus. All he wanted to do right now was to go home and rest.
