Heavenly FATHER, thank YOU for this day and this season. Thank YOU for all things. Thank YOU for the plans YOU have made for each of us, and may nothing we do interrupt those plans. I am so grateful today LORD GOD, that I followed the steps that YOU laid down before me, the steps that led me here. I could have walked another way, but YOU and YOUR sweet HOLY SPIRIT never left me, always correcting the direction I was moving in. All I have and all I am is by YOUR design and by YOUR grace. How does one give thanks for all that?
Let my tongue never be silent, about the little baby born this season, GOD made mortal flesh, to suffer for me, to understand our suffering, to die for me so I need never die. Let me learn to cherish less the things of this world and put all my hope in YOU. For as YOU teach us in YOUR Word:
"But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." Matthew 6:20-21 NIV
What once seemed to be glittering jewels now appears as dust as each day I am more convinced that all I need is YOU. May I strive to find one soul each day that needs to know YOU, and never forget to praise YOUR name, and lift high the name of CHRIST JESUS, it is in HIS name I pray.
