God does not want us to keep struggling over a relationship with Him, but to take Him at His Word and find His "...peace that passeth all understandings". Let me suggest a struggling soul can find peace and assurance of God's blessings in the Word of God ---begin an overview of the Bible at John 1; John 3; John 14, then ask God to lead you to His saving grace. Its all about this godly relationship through the Lord Jesus, the Christ of God. Look up always!

Dear 1watchman. Peace that passes all understanding can be ours by following the Commandments which Jesus gives. In 22 Matthews: 35-40: Jesus tells us: " The first and great Commandment is: Love God with all thy heart, with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. The second is like it: love thy neighbour as thyself." In verse 40 we are told:
" on these two Commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets." God is Love, and God wants loving sons and daughters. By doing what God wants from us, we prove the Love and Worship we have for our Heavenly Father.
In Matthew 7: 7-10: we are told: " ask and you shall receive," we ask for Love and Joy, then thank God and share all love and joy with our neighbour: all we know and all we meet, friends and not friends. God will see our loving efforts, and God will bless us. We keep asking for Love and Joy, then thank God and share all with our neighbour. We might stumble and forget at times, but then we ask God to forgive us, and carry on loving and caring. The Holy Spirit will help and guide us, and Jesus our Saviour will lead us all the way: JESUS IS THE WAY.
The Bible tells us: " Repent and be Born Again," we give up our selfish wishes and wants, and start loving and caring.
That is what God wants from us, let us be sign-posts to God. We will find that people treat us the same as we treat people, Love is very catching. No more struggling, only love and joy. I say this with love, 1watchman. Greetings from Emmy, your sister in Christ.
