History has always repeated itself. You don't have to be a genius to know that history has been repeating itself for several millenia. It doesn't matter if you are a Jew, a Christian, a Muslim, an atheist, an agnostic still on the fence, a scientist that needs all proof first, a democrat, a republican, a communist, a socialist, or simply a lost soul that doesn't know what to think. A simple look at history from any perspective teaches us that history simply repeats itself.
From the beginning of mankind there has always been someone who wants to be better than someone else. As the populations of the earth grew there came time and time again a person who wanted to conquer the world in which they lived and wanted those around them to serve them in every way, shape and form. It is at the heart of our very nature and the nature of the beast that is our flesh to want everything and want it now. This is a basic human yearning that does not come from our spirit or soul, it comes from the needs of our own bodies and the insecurities thereof; And it is a simple survival instinct that is within us all.
Then a simple man came along. This humble man was not of this earth. He looked like us, he talked like us, he had the same needs that we have, but he did not have sin. This sin is simply a word that describes self-glorification and self-survival. Jesus who is Christ did NOT have this necessity. Sure, He had the needs of the flesh and needed to eat and drink to keep his body energized and maintained. But His love in and trust in His Father, the Creator of the universe was 100% full in His mind, heart and soul. He knew that He would live as long as He was meant to live and that His needs would be supplied. He didn't need insurance plans, riches buried in the ground, umpteen bank accounts and secret stashes to feel secure. He knew that He would be clothed, eat and drink and this simple faith was pleasing to His Father, the Creator of this earth in which we now live.
But there's a problem! History continues to repeat itself over and over and over to the point that it's causing many people to grow cold in their love of each other! The news, the papers, the propaganda, the wars and rumors of wars... how can we feel peace in our hearts at times like these? How can we enjoy our blessings and see others without them? It is in times like these that every man, woman and child is faced with the possibility of death on earth. And there is nothing that makes a person feel more alive than knowing that he could possibly die by doing something, and he does it anyway. Knowing simply that he will not die until his appointed time, which we all have. We cannot know it! Who would want to!? I know one thing for sure. Those already in eternity and bliss with their Father securely connected to them and knowledge and presence of His love grace and mercy continuously; They must take a peek at us every now and then and think, "OH! To go through it again! What a wonderful heart-pumping ride life was and is!!!"
But how do we stop this cycle? How do we unite a divided world? How can we battle a miseducation of children that if you kill a lot of people then you will receive heaven from god? How do we keep this from continuing? How do we stop this cycle so that we are not once again thrust into the dark ages experienced by those living after the fires of Rome burning?
It's simple really:
Love God with all your heart, all your mind and all your soul; And secondly love your fellow human-being like you love yourself.
And peace would be known on earth and peace we will all have one day. But the jealousy of one another, the greed, the lust, the sloth, everything that brings your heart low and your self-righteousness high and above others is not of God and it cannot be good for the human-race as a whole.
Let's stop the cycle, each of us, one at a time, day-to-day.
And We The People, of the United States of America need to fix our homefront and then worry about abroad. We are not the world's police state. We have far too many problems at home in this nation we love to continue trying to tell other nations what to do. And they certainly won't listen to a Republican run nation telling them they need a Democratic society. That just doesn't make sense now does it?
